Summer fun for children at the Wastlhof

Happy children mean happy parents!

Happy children are part of a successful family holiday at Wastlhof. In the Wildschönau and the surrounding area there are plenty of opportunities for exciting holidays with children and young people. Joint activities and family-friendly excursions are a great bonding experience for everyone. The Dragon Club also offers supervised adventures without parents. They’ve got to be "bored" without children.

Fun and games in the hotel

There is a large playground in the hotel gardens where you can really let off steam. After cooling off in the pool, the fun goes on. In bad weather, a games room offers entertainment for kids and teens. Free WiFi is also available.

Children's supervision at the dragon club

The tourist board offers a free children‘s program in the summer in the Dragon Club from Monday to Friday for 5 to 14 year olds.with excursions, fun and adventure throughout the valley.

Playgrounds in the valley

In the Wildschönau there are many children’s playgrounds that are also easy to hike to. For example the outdoor playground in Niederau, Jacky's playground in Oberau, the forest playground on the Kogl path in Thierbach and the playground at the outdoor pool

Playgrounds on the mountains

Walks to the mountaintops are particularly beautiful. Playgrounds offer variety for children.
On the top of the Schatzberg lift there are playgrounds at the Berggasthof Koglmoos, with a water feature at the middle station, a playground at the Schatzbergalm mountain station and one at the "Gipföhitt" on the wonderful Schatzberg with a large bouncy castle.
When taking the Markbachjoch cable car you will find playgrounds at the Norderbergalm and Kasalm huts.
The Schönangeralm, which is an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes, also offers a beautiful playground.

Adventures for children and teenagers

Children and young people can explore the Wildschönau from on high on a tandem paragliding flight from the Markbachjoch mountain. Cycling enthusiasts can practice their skills in a mountainbike course.
