Snowshoe & winter hiking

There are a lot of prepared tours with descriptions and maps, elevation profiles, etc. But you can also just go for a walk and try it out first - it's a bit more strenuous than you might think. You can also go on guided snowshoe tours with a ski instructor or hiking guide.

The Wildschönau is a side valley of the Inn Valley, a large, sunny high valley with rather gentle slopes and countless opportunities for beautiful ski boot tours - from very leisurely to really strenuous. The good thing: many cosy huts and mountain inns invite you to take a break.

An extensive network of cleared winter hiking trails offers a variety of opportunities for winter hikes. Those who know the area from summer will be amazed at how the valley and landscape change in the cold season. The impression is completely different.
