Mountain railways free of charge in summer!

Summer mountain railway
Relax on the gondola lift up the mountain and simply start hiking. With the Premium Card, our summer mountain railways are included during regular operating hours.
Ski bus in winter
The Wildschönau ski bus takes skiers comfortably to the valley station of the Schatzbergbahn in Auffach, the Markbachjochbahn in Niederau and the Schiesshüttllift in Oberau. The buses run over 20 times a day.
Hiking bus in summer
The hiking bus takes you comfortably from A to B through the Wildschönau valley to Thierbach and the Schönangeralm. The bus runs daily from the beginning of June to mid-October.
Fun in the outdoor swimming pool
The heated facility is located between Oberau and Niederau on the easy Franziskusweg hiking trail. The sports pool for swimming and the multi-purpose pool for bathing and splashing around cover a water area of over 1000 m². There are diving platforms at the sports pool. The water slide at the multi-purpose pool is for bathers who like speed!
Guided hikes
The guided hiking experience programme includes hikes of all levels of difficulty. Between May and mid-October, group hikes take place from Monday to Friday. The hiking programme varies depending on the season.
Fun and games at the dragon club
A varied children's programme full of interesting discoveries awaits young holidaymakers at the Wildschönau Dragon Club. Whether it's fun and games in the Dragon Valley or a detective treasure hunt in nature – every day brings new and exciting adventures.
Tennis court
The tennis court has three high-quality clay courts and a café serving refreshments. The court is ideal for tennis enthusiasts and is also located in the immediate vicinity of a spacious swimming pool, offering the perfect combination of sporting activity and relaxation.
mountain farming museum z'Bach
A walk through the ‘z'Bach’ mountain farming museum is a journey back in time to the world of the Wildschönau's ancestors. Over 1,200 exhibits vividly illustrate the harsh life of Tyrolean mountain farmers.
Augustiner Museum Rattenberg
The Augustinian Museum in Rattenberg presents Tyrolean art treasures from nine centuries in an atmospheric monastery setting. It is also home to Tyrol's only church tower that is open to the public.
