Unless otherwise agreed in writing, guests at our hotel are bound by the most recent version of the Conditions of contract of the Austrian Hotelier Association (ÖHV)
The regulations set out in the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions apply to cancellations, late arrivals, and early departures. There are no charges for cancellations up to 3 months prior to travel; from between 3 months and 1 month prior to travel, we charge 40% of the price, from 1 month 70%. In the week prior to travel and in the event of late arrival or early departure, we will charge 90% of booked accommodation costs if we are unable to rebook your room.
An email booking is considered a fixed reservation. Cancellations are only valid if made in writing. Any deposits made will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Sometimes, life doesn’t go quite the way we planned. Especially when it comes to a well-earned holiday, we recommend that all guests take out a travel cancellation insurance policy.
Save on unnecessary costs if the worst comes to the worst, such as an unforeseen illness or fatality, with “Hotel Cancellation Plus” insurance. This policy ensures you’re not left out of pocket if you’re unable to travel, need to come home early, or even require mountain rescue services.
